These units have been constructed directly on the performer's body using layers of kevlar fiber and carbon fiber in an epoxy resin matrix. The top right image shows a sample of the surface treatment and texture which will eventually be added to all pieces. Functional electronic elements will be mounted to these units before the final texture process is applied.
